Zoning, Subdivision & Land Development​
The Township has an ordinance regulating the subdivision of land, adjustment of lot lines and development of lots for all purposes. Plans for all are subject to review by the Planning Commission and approval by the Board of Supervisors. 

Pennsylvania State Law mandates these reviews, and all approved plans are required to be recorded with the Monroe County Recorder of Deeds. A hard-copy of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) and Zoning Ordinance may be reviewed and/or purchased at the Township Municipal Building.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is comprised of seven volunteer residents appointed by the Supervisors to act as an advisory group to the Board as well as advising the Township in regard to long-range planning, recommendations for changes, and subdivision and land development plans.
